The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of heroes, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, demons, and sinister influences increasing in strength within the city.

Warning: Revealing details for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The third episode finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the primary party to begin their independent quest, distinct from the additional parties.

This warrior group features the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the personal journeys before branching into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.

What Defines the Combat Party

As described by the DM, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented narrative style where non-violent answers are scarce.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric Wicander might appear mismatched, but the developments of the third episode make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death started the campaign’s events—exploited the enemy for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, striking the rogue, and stealing all the enchanted items to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the northern region, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as the companion and trusted friend, wants vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and cautions that it is a dangerous location.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having defied his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a life debt to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The rogue and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The cleric betrayed the influential house and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

According to the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the warrior group will not appear next week, leaving the remaining eight players to round up the Explorers and Schemers parties.

Audiences can expect finding out which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
