AC Shadows Reveals Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the official announcement, "An unusual confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot features a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is available to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser ends with a striking sequence showing a character, probably the hostage, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Prizes and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
